Terms of Service
Create with care. Share with respect.
Updated October 7, 2026 · Draft pending operator details
The service’s legal operator, jurisdiction and final retention and refund terms still need confirmation. This draft describes the current product and does not replace mandatory rights.
1. About LARPay
LARPay provides desktop artwork customization and a free community gallery. It does not issue payment cards, provide banking services, or change balances, payment credentials, limits or benefits. LARPay is independent of Apple, payment networks and card issuers. Custom artwork does not establish an affiliation or a financial entitlement.
These terms cover the website, community and desktop app. By uploading, you agree to these terms and the personal-use permission below. You must be at least 18 to upload. Browse and use the service only where lawful.
2. Publishing and managing your work
Anyone can browse the public gallery. Uploading does not require a paid desktop license or registration. A necessary browser cookie links your uploads and likes to this browser; creator names are self-selected and are not verified identities. Do not impersonate another creator. Clearing the cookie or changing browsers removes access to self-service deletion. Use the contact form with evidence of ownership if you need help.
Uploads are public and may be viewed or shared worldwide. Titles, descriptions and creator names are public too. Publish only material you own or are authorized to share, including permission from identifiable people where required. Do not upload payment card numbers, security codes, identity documents, account screenshots or other private data.
3. Ownership and permissions
You keep ownership of your work. By publishing, you grant LARPay a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, resize, re-encode, display and deliver the work, and to display its title and your chosen creator name, solely to operate and share the gallery. We do not acquire ownership of your copyright.
You also allow viewers to use the published artwork for personal, noncommercial purposes, including personal Wallet customization, and to share its gallery link. Credit the named creator when reposting a permitted copy. This permission does not allow resale, commercial use, sublicensing, or claiming someone else’s work as your own. Third-party trademarks and other rights remain with their owners. No permission can cover rights the uploader does not hold.
You can remove your upload from its artwork page in the same browser. Removal ends new distribution by LARPay but cannot recall copies previously obtained or lawfully used, or copies retained by third parties.
4. Designs from other creators
Some gallery designs were first published by independent creators on cardart.cc. Each one shows the creator’s public name and a link to its original page. LARPay does not claim ownership of these designs, and showing them here does not mean their creators endorse LARPay.
You may preview these designs on your card and use them for your own personal Wallet customization. Do not resell them, redistribute them as your own or use them commercially, and respect any additional conditions the creator sets on the original page. A creator can ask us to correct a credit or remove a design at any time using the form below.
5. Trademarks and logos
Bank names, payment network marks, logos, characters and other brands that appear in designs belong to their owners. They appear only to identify the style or subject a design refers to. Their presence does not mean that any bank, network, brand or rights holder sponsors, approves or is connected with LARPay.
A custom design is decoration on your own device. Do not use it to suggest you hold a card, status or benefit you do not have, or to mislead merchants, issuers or anyone else. Rights holders can raise concerns on the Copyright & Takedown page.
6. Community rules, moderation and suspension
Do not post unlawful material, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, threats, targeted harassment, hate content, graphic violence, malware, spam, fraudulent financial claims or infringements of copyright, trademark or privacy. Do not manipulate likes, evade restrictions, automate abusive uploads or probe other users’ private data.
We may remove content or restrict access for violations, legal requests or abuse prevention. Repeat infringement may result in upload restrictions. Reports are reviewed by the operator; a report does not automatically establish infringement or trigger deletion. You can request review of a removal using the appeal option in the contact form.
We may limit or suspend uploads, likes or community access for a browser or network that repeatedly breaks these terms, abuses the service or creates legal risk. We may also change, pause or end community features, giving notice where reasonably possible. This does not remove a paid desktop license, except as described for refunds and disputes.
7. Desktop compatibility
Desktop customization uses an unofficial iOS method and depends on device and operating-system compatibility. An update may change or break compatibility. A successful scan does not guarantee that applying artwork will succeed. Back up your device before changes and use only devices you own or are authorized to operate. Automatic restoration of issuer artwork is not provided.
8. Purchases and consumer rights
The community gallery is free; it does not currently sell creator uploads or pay creator royalties. Desktop access is a separate one-time purchase. The price, currency and current offer appear before payment in Stripe Checkout. No recurring subscription is created. The current offer includes two separate license keys; each activates one computer only, and an unused second key may be given to a friend. Earlier purchases retain their checkout entitlement.
LARPay is digital software. After payment is verified, your license keys are available on your private purchase page and a copy is sent by email. By completing checkout you ask us to start delivery right away and acknowledge that, where the law allows, you lose any right to cancel simply because you changed your mind.
Refunds: the result LARPay provides is a changed card image in Apple Wallet. The result is delivered once LARPay has changed the artwork of at least one card in your Wallet, or has detected a card on your connected iPhone so that its artwork can be changed. If you did not get that result, contact us within 14 days of purchase with your order reference and a short description of the problem. We will first try to help you get it working; if the result still cannot be delivered, we refund the full purchase price. Once the result has been delivered, no refund is due for reasons such as a change of mind, preferring a different design, the artwork later being reset by an iOS, Wallet or bank update, or how the card looks to you or to others. A refund or chargeback revokes both license keys from that purchase. Mandatory consumer rights, including rights for faulty digital content, are not affected. Use the support option in the contact form or email hello@larppay.com, and never send full payment details or a license key.
9. Availability, disclaimers and liability
We work to keep the service useful, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, compatibility with every device, or accuracy or ownership of every community submission. Keep your own original files. To the extent allowed by applicable law, the service is provided as available. Nothing here excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
To the extent the law allows, LARPay is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or problems caused by operating-system updates, third-party tools or the unofficial iOS method, and our total liability for a claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. These limits do not apply where the law does not permit them, including for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Changes and contact
We will publish updates on this page with a new date and provide additional notice where required. Changes do not remove rights that already apply to your purchase. For questions, privacy requests, copyright complaints or appeals, email hello@larppay.com or use the contact form linked below. No governing-law or exclusive-court clause is specified until the operator’s jurisdiction is confirmed.
